Coming from Munich - 2 hours 

Coming from Salzburg – 1 hour:
about 50 km on the Tauernautobahn A10 south to Bischofshofen, on the B311  25km in direction Zell am See, then to the left on the B167 to Dorfgastein

Coming from Innsbruck – 2 hours:
Motorway via Wörgl, Road No. 312 via St.Johann/Tirol to Lofer, road No. 311 via Zell am See to Lend, Road No. 167 to Gastein or motorway Kufstein - Salzburg - Villach, Gasteinertal exit, Road No. 167 into the Gastein valley.

Coming from the south, drive to Mallnitz via Villach, Möllbrücke and Obervellach and take the train-car ferry to Gastein.
